FDM to HFM: 'Access is Denied' when clicking on Browse for target value
Hello Everyone,
I am a newbie in FDM. I am facing the following problem: Whenever I try to map an account to a HFM account in FDM, I click on 'Browse for target value'. Every time, this gives an error: 'Access is denied'. The detailed error is:
+"Error: Access is denied.+
+Error Reference Number: {071079A5-AEB1-4B53-A777-F0CDE57B9433}+

Our deployment setup (in short) is as follows:
Server IN-CCUBICOE2: Has FDM (both services and web app)
Server IN-CCUBICOE3: Has HFM (both services and web app)
FDM is configured with a local account in server IN-CCUBICOE2. This account is used to configure the application server process, Application pool, load balancer etc as well as to register the adapter.
HFM is configured with another local account in server IN-CCUBICOE3.
I have tried fiddling around with machine profiles in my adapters. The current setting is:
Source: IN-CCUBICOE2
Target: IN-CCUBICOE3
(In the credentials part, should I give the Hyperion credentials or windows credentials?)
The login method is configured as Unified. (but I have also tried Global etc)
(I have installed the HFM client in the IN-CCUBICOE2 server - where FDM resides, and have added the application cluster as IN-CCUBICOE3 - to which I can connect using the HFM client)
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks,
Sayantan
