FDM and ERP support on RAC

We are in the process of re-implementing our Hyperion Financial Data Management environment and are going with version 11.1.1.3.. The FDM 11.1.1.3 README states that FDM and ERP Integrator are not supported on RAC, but this is the first we've heard of this. I've been trying to find out more information about this non-support for RAC for several days now and other than the readme, there's nothing detailing why this is. Could you let me know why FDM and ERP are not supported on RAC?
