FCCS: Migrate Net Income

2837733Jun 12 2017 — edited Jun 30 2017

So, the May patch moved the seed Net Income hierarchy to Retained Earnings and changed the exchange rate type to historical instead of average like it should be for IS accounts. The documentation states "As part of the upgrade process, all of the base level members under FCCS_Net Income will be updated with the Exchange Rate property set to Historical. You can change them to Historical Amount Override, or Historical Rate Override as needed. You can create additional members under FCCS_Retained Earnings Current."

Also, "The Configuration task to migrate Net Income data migrates the Net Income data from FCCS_No Movement to FCCS Mvmts_NetIncome and updates all the seeded artifacts impacted by the data migration."

So my questions are:

* Why historical rates? We changed to average but any time another content upgrade is applied they revert back to historical. This doesn't work for us.

* Do we have have change our integrations to load income statement accounts to FCCS Mvmts_NetIncome instead of FCCS_No Movement?

Anyone else experiencing this?
