Fantraps in Discoverer

Hi All,

In Discoverer when i try to open a particular report it gives me the error-
'Join Configuration cannot be reolved. Reason more than one of the detailed folders uses non-aggregated items'.

I got to know that this can be fixed by
Tools--> Options-->Disable fan trap detection

Through this my error was fixed and I was able to open the report.
But I am still not able to understand why this error came. And basically what is a fantrap in Discoverer.

Any help in this regard will be really appreciated.
