failed to connect directory server error after admin password reset

we are using 9.3.3 Hyperion financial management, we tried resetting the admin password through shared service -native directory password change, after reset and Ldap/SS service restart, it was allowing us to login shared service url but not allowing admin and other users to log in to HFM workspace. it is throwing error : failed to connect directory server" .can anyone knows the issue? Appreciate your help in advance. this is really throbbing us.
