Fail to serve file larger than 4GB

Hi folks,

I have a servlet to let browsers to download files. Firefox and IE both seem have problems to download files larger than 4GB. I step thru the servlet code and it works just fine. I think there is a limit on the browsers. But why 4GB? Any input will help, thanks!
