f60genm and Reflection X form compiler

Does anybody know the differences between the command line f60genm and the Reflection X form compiler?

We had a form with some problems after the compilation using Reflection X form compiler. After compiling using f60genm, the problems disappeared, even the problem you would not think that would be fixed by compiling.

Does anybody have any explaination to it. I would like to know.
