Extend virtual disk size for VM created by using template on VM Manager

mkwokSep 26 2011 — edited Sep 26 2011
Hi,

I am using the template OVM_OL5U6_X86_64_PVM_10GB to create VM on VM Manager. The default size for the created virtual disk (System.img) is about 12G. Can someone tell me how I can extend the size for this virtual disk?

When I use VM manager to remove the default virtual disk and recreate it with a larger size, I can't start the VM with the following error:

Start - /OVS/running_pool/44_testing
PowerOn Failed : Result - failed:<Exception: return=>failed:<Exception: ['xm', 'create', '/var/ovs/mount/34707B03EC5B4CE89398B272808AF124/running_pool/44_testing/vm.cfg'] => Error: Boot loader didn't return any data!

I would like to know if this is the correct way to recreate a virtual disk for VM with larger size.

Thanks.
