ext3 or vfat?
807559Aug 10 2006 — edited Aug 10 2006On my PC laptop apart from Solaris I have ext3fs partition with linux fedora installation and another ext3 partition with my personal data (linux /home partition). I would like to access /home partition from Solaris. As far as I learned it's not easy at all. So maybe I should convert my ext3 /home partition to vfat? Will it be easier for Solaris to read it? If i do so, what shall I do in Solaris to gain access to it? I'm a rather Solaris newbie, so be generous in explanations, please :)
And btw: any good advices for mounting iPod under Solaris?
