Exporting password values in LDIF format?

I know that the password is stored in a hashed format in the directory. Is it possible to export this value in a hash format (ex. password = lsdkfjlksdf) in an LDIF dump? Is it possible then to re-import this file into another directory instance so users can continue to user their existing passwords?
