Export Import of CLOB data

Hi,

I have to transfer some records from one database to another for perticular one table.

I had taken Export of that table's records which have CLOB data in it.

Then I have done Import into destination database into existing table.

I have checked Import was done successfully.

But my data in records seems corrupted since they are not working for Destination database's application.

Does export import of CLOB data affect their contents or can corrupt them?
