Export Huge Volume of data

Hi

I want to export a huge volume of data from oracle table to CSV file .when i am trying to export it in TOAD in middle it got hanged and closed and tried it in sql plus and it is taking more time...

could you please tell me is there any other way to export the huge volume of data which is generated from SQL query to CSV file.
Plz do the needful.
