export display of a solaris

Hello
I have a server installed in the test room. I would like to export display. what i would like to do is display an xterm and if possible the smc in my laptop running windows with cygwin/X installed. i can access the machine with ssh. but I don't manage to launch applications like xterm and then smc.
I am using solaris 10 05/08. on a sparc 280R.
