EXport Db from Unix

I am new to Unix.
I am trying to export the GOM schema ( GOM/GOM) from Unix server( create .dmp file).
I did telnet to the unix server and type lS to see the entire directory.

there are multiple ora01, ora02,ora03,ora04, ora05...

I typed sqlplus...but it didn;t reconized the command.
How can I go to the Oracle home directory in unix and run the export command.
Can you show me the step by step instrunction?
