Export a sys table [!exp] on Linux

767685Mar 14 2012 — edited Mar 15 2012
Hi,

I want to truncate a table belong to sys schema, i.,e, WRI$_OPTSTAT_HISTGRM_HISTORY. To make the free space available in the tablespace SYSAUX- it's 80% full. Before truncating this table I want to export it, but !exp is not working for me when I want to provide sys / as sysdba.

OS=RHL.
# There is something little but of course tricky .
SQL> !exp

Export: Release 10.2.0.5.0 - Production on Wed Mar 14 12:51:53 2012
