Explain this error please

Hello Guys, I can't see much Girls around here..Anyway I'm having this error message from a Java soure file which I just downloaded. The class files are working correctly,but I wonna modify the source file for my project. It's got a General Publice lincence.
It look like an older version of Java was used in creating the code I got.
Some input files use or override a deprecated API.
Note Recompile with -deprecation for details.

How do you get around this erroe message? Cheers
