Experimental RAC with Firewire

Hi

Anyone even try before to work in RAC with firewire under RH4, Centos 4, Whitebox3/4.

I have using a Oxford 1394a chipset HD enclosure with 2 firewire card with NEC chipset.

Being trying Centos 4 just now and Whitebox OS , still can't get the firewire connection up and running in between 2 pc ?

I'm being stuck in this connection phare PCA-> Firewire Enclosure <- PCB ..

Recently following jeff Hunter new addtition to work in CentOS but still can't get it done ?

I try to check on TI card in KL but only can find it at 2nd market , is it we must use TI firewire card+ maxtor firewire hd then we can get higher chance of RAC working ?
