exp error ora 12154 encounter using rhel 5.5 64bits, oracle 10gr2

dear sirs, hello can someone highlight what files i need to do corrections.

i notice over network the sqlplus work fine where exp local machine has this error,

Export: Release 10.2.0.5.0 - Production on Sat Jan 8 16:25:24 2011

EXP-00056: ORACLE error 12154 encountered
ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified
