executable, dynamically linked not stripped ???

Hi,

When I examine an executable file with the "file" utility, I get a message -
ELF 32-bit MSB executable SPARC Version 1, dynamically linked, not stripped.

I understand everything except, "not stripped".

What does that mean ?
