Exclusion in PBCS forms

hello all,

i am using exclusion in my form since i want to exclude a department in my form, but it only excludes it on the display, but the total still includes the member i have excluded.

is there a way that it gets excluded in the total as well? is the exclusion on the forms only meant for display?
