Excluding a records from my workflow assignments

Hi there. I'm brand new to working with components and I've been tasked to exclude records some workflow records using the my work flow assignments component.
I've read the documentation enough to have an okay understanding of how idoc script works and all of that. But I can't seem to figure out how to exclude workflow records that are called -insert_name_of_workflow-.

I'd appreciate any help on the matter.

We're using version 12.2.1.3.0
