Does anyone know if it is possible to exclude/suppress a particular ORA alert message from appearing in the instance alert log for a database? v11.2.0.4
For example, to suppress the ORA alert log message: "WARNING: inbound connection timed out (ORA-3136)"
I know I can modify the sqlnet inbound timeout params or determine the source and investigate the slow authentication problem (That's not what I am after here) but I am just curious to know if anyone has a method for suppressing a particular ORA event from appearing in the log...
