Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:

HI guys, i am having the following problem when running any of my programs. It compiles fine, and then produces the following error message at runtime.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Hello

Hello is the name of the class that i am writing. Previously had no probles with running programs, havent moved any files etc. Have tried reinstalling java sdk (1.4.1) and textpad all to no avail. Need to know how to fix it (in laymans terms btw!) as i soon have coursework to write. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
