Excel Rate Function in Oracle Planning 11.1.2

921610Apr 1 2012 — edited Apr 3 2012
Hello Everyone,

I just want to know whether in Oracle Planning calculation manager there's a function that has the same functionality compared to the rate function in excel.

Below is the explanation of Excel's rate function:

Returns the interest rate per period of an annuity. RATE is calculated by iteration and can have zero or more solutions.

Syntax: RATE(nper,pmt,pv,fv,type,guess)

I have looked up the Oracle technical reference and it seems like there's no functions I can use directly.

If anyone is familiar with this, please kindly give me a hint, thanks a lot!
