When our users manually connect to HFM application in Smart View (SmartView -> Panel -> Private connections -> AppName), excel crashes. However if they open SV files, they are prompted to login and everything works just fine. It all started sometime around Aug-13th 2018. Everyone has SV installed on their local machines. Office version doesn't matter, the issue is the same for Office 7, 13 or 16. We have the same problem with SV 11.1.2.5.400 and 11.1.2.5.720.
We have a suspicion the issue has something to do with the recent Microsoft update, but nobody knows for sure. Does anyone experience the same issue?
I appreciate any suggestion.
