Application Development Software

We are taking a (brief at the moment!) look at the Sun calendar server. I have installed the Directory server and the Calendar server (latest versions available for download) and simple accepted all of the defaults. All seems ok - works pretty well so far.

Ulimately, we want to access some of this data from our main website which is apache/php. Has anyone got any example code to show php talking to the calendar server that they would be willing to share? I've seen examples in jsp but that isn't an option here (for the near future anyway).

Also, there doesn't seem to be anyway "out of the box" for users to change their passwords in the directory server. Again. any example code would be appreciated. I have read about some mysterious URL that users could use to access the administration server to change passwords - is this back in the netscape days or is it stll there in the Sunone version (and if so, where is it??!!!)
