Exadata architecture - dev /test/ prod
How do people develop for Exadata?
Do you develop / test on..
1. A normal, single instance
2. RAC instance(s)
3. A separate development Exadata server
4. A production Exadata server
Typically you want to at least have a pre-production environment that matches production, for performance and functionality. Additionally, you don't want development or pre-production environments to affect production in any way. But, it seems excessive to purchase more than 1 exadata dartabase machine. So, what is the best approach?
