Evaluation Context --??. Also is there data associated with Evaluation Context in DB

Folks,

I have tasked with encrypting data in the database. 

We are running, Oracle db 12.1.0.2.

I am encrypting data in each schema.

Anyway, in one schema , I ran into a database object type called - Evaluation Context .

I am a DBA and will admit , I had no idea what an 'Evaluation Context' database object is.

So I have started reading about it.

From what I have read.

I don't think there is any data associated in the database with Evaluation Context db object ?

Can someone please answer this question and also enlighten me about the db object called Evaluation Context.
