Establishing connection to Oracle

All,
We are using Hyperion 8.5 Suite and Oracle 10g database. I am having problems creating a connection to Oracle. Does anyone know how to build the .oce file so that I can connect to Oracle? The person that installed Hyperion client on my desktop did no install the help file. Furthermore, due to budgetary issues, my organization chose not to extend Brio/Hyperion Tech support.
