I seem to have the following problem I have found similar threads but cannot find a clear solution.
I am getting the following errors in the Essbase log.
[Tue Apr 05 09:35:06 2016]Local/ESSBASE0///3412/Error(1051430)
Failed to create Essbase project [EssbaseCluster-1] at Shared Services with Error [Application group already exist.]
[Tue Apr 05 09:35:06 2016]Local/ESSBASE0///3412/Warning(1056822)
Failed to migrate Essbase to HSS security mode during startup. Check SharedServices_Security_client.log. May need to remove essbase.sec and any of the newly migrated Essbase applications from HSS, then rerun configuration tool.
And in EAS I get the following message
Essbase Server: EssbaseCluster-1 com.essbase.eas.essbase.defs.ServerCommands.Connect 02 May 2016 16:47:44 BST
Error: 104: Invalid user name or password
Error: 1051012: User native://DN=cn=911,ou=People,dc=css,dc=hyperion,dc=com?USER does not exist
SharedServices_Security.log Error saving Security configuration file. RootCause: {1}. Verify EPM System configuration.
Essbase_ODL Failed to encrypt and re-store Shared Services security configuration XML. null. No action required.
EAS on logon
Error: 104: Invalid user name or password

I have tried the following back up of D:\EPM\Essbase\bin\ESSBASE.SEC file and then delete and restart services, but problem persists. In shared services I do see the EssbaseCluster1 but when I click on it I get EPMLCM-13000: Service currently not available.
I have not yet patched Essbase yet.
Any suggestions?
