Essbase On-Premise REST API?

Hello ,

Do we have Essbase on premise rest api just like Hyperion planning Rest Api ?

Wanted to check on the options similarly to rest api for essbase .

I checked we have Essbase web service, seems difficult to use as compared to planning rest API.
