Hi EAL Experts!

My customer is consindering implementation of EAL instead of Extended Analytics to pull the data from his HFM instance for management reporting.
There is not to much documentation on the tool (except for Admin Guide)... maybe you could answer some of the following questions:

1. Is EAL able to extract dynamic members from HFM and if yes, than does it calculate data for them on the fly (like HFM does) or calculates and persists the data in its storage after data synchronization?
2. The Customer puts only positive values in his HFM Application, the way how the given account should be calculated is determined by its type and value of the SwitchSignForFlow flag. I.e. values in the liabilities account should be multiplied by (-1). Does EAL recognize such setups and calculates values in parent knotes correctly?
3. I did some simple testing with TOTCONSOL and the results where very good when I manipulated data only. The data will by synchronized automatically by the agent, and changes are visible almost in real time in essbase reports. But when I changed HFM metada (added and removed accounts) I came accross inconsistensies. First of all EAL has not recognized inconsistencies in the metadata between its metadata repository and hfm. When I added a new account and put data for it, it did not show up in Essbase and I was not notified about inconsistencies. Essbase report showed inconsistent data in parent knotes as opossed to correct HFM datagrid. When I removed the existing account, EAL acted as if this account still existed and still displayed its data. Again showing inconsistent aggregates. I had to manually synchronize the metadata and rebuild essbase outline to see consistent data. Is it possible to automate metadata synchronization process? Or at least to be notified about inconsistencies in the metadata when they occur?

I would be grateful if someone could answer any of above questions.
