ESB vs EAI

Enterprise application integration, that was the hub and spoke model for integration. Now with SOA wave we got ESB. Can someone explain me how :

1) ESB is better architecture then EAI ( both are kinds hub and spoke , a centerlized infrastructure to mediate and support queing )

2) ESB acts as broker between different services want to interact same as EAI software .
