hey friends i have been trying to install orcle 9i on windows 7 32bit operating system.
i have no clue what is happening. while installing oracle 9i from a 3 cd pack, i get some errors such as
"error in writing to file C: \oracle\ora90\bin\oci.dll" and
"jrew.exe stopped working".
the oci.dll error is at 7% while copying oci.dll and
the jrew.exe error appears when the installation is at 28% i.e. when it tries to copy spl_executortest.class.
when the oci.dll error appeared i ignored it and proceeded with the installation.
the same errors appear no matter what i do. i tried installing oracle9i thrice on same computer on same user.
please help i need to study oracle from home.
also please tell me if ORACLE9i is incompatible with win 7 32bit.. thank you very much.
