Error with OHS 11g in SSL mode

AmbarishMitraNov 24 2010 — edited Jul 11 2011
Hi all,

I have deployed OHS 11g in front of my Federation OIF 11g server. The OHS starts up fine but when any request comes to it, it gives an error:

[2010-11-24T19:47:20.4494+05:30] [OHS] [ERROR:32] [] [http_core.c] [host_id: server1.domain.com] [host_addr: 10.88.176.88] [pid: 919] [tid: 53726128] [user: oracle] [VirtualHost: server1.domain.com:4443] nzos handshake error, nzos_Handshake returned 28860(server server1.domain.com:4443, client 10.88.176.156)

[2010-11-24T19:47:20.4494+05:30] [OHS] [ERROR:32] [] [http_core.c] [host_id: server1.domain.com] [host_addr: 10.88.176.88] [pid: 919] [tid: 53726128] [user: oracle] [VirtualHost: server1.domain.com:4443] NZ Library Error: SSL fatal alert

Consequently, the other end breaks the connection with Peer reset error.

In the httpd.conf, I checked and it seems ok to me.

ServerName server1.domain.com

There is a virtual host at :4443 which has SSLEngine as On.

If anyone has faced this error and knows how to fix, that would be great. Is there a published list of error codes (28860)?

Do you think SSL on a non-standard port (4443 as against 443) is causing any issue?

Thank you.
