Error with data gaurd setup 10g

Hi All,

i am new to oracle DBA. for practice purpose i am try to create a Datagaurd. i am getting following error in the alert log as below. please guide me to configure the data gaurd.

log as below:-

Errors in file /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/admin/ourdb/udump/ourdb_rfs_3790.trc:
ORA-16009: remote archive log destination must be a STANDBY database
