error while loading shared libraries: librt.so.1: cannot open shared object

Does anybody know why this error appears and what happened with my librt.so.1?
I get these error messages:

touch: error while loading shared libraries: librt.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
ls: error while loading shared libraries: librt.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
