Error when install Sol8 on Intel SAI2 server board

807559Mar 29 2002 — edited May 19 2002
I'm trying to install Solaris 8 10/01 on my new Intel server but fail.

configure: Intel SAI2 Server Board
http://developer.intel.com/design/servers/sai2/

after the message
<< Starting Solaris Webstart Installation >>
...
it halt for about 1 minutes then display the following message and reboot.

WARNING: /pci@0,0/pci-ide@f,1/ide@1(ata);
timeout: abort request, target:0 lun=0
WARNING: /pci@0,0/pci-ide@f,1/ide@1(ata);
timeout: abort device, target:0 lun=0
WARNING: /pci@0,0/pci-ide@f,1/ide@1(ata);
timeout: reset target, target:0 lun=0
WARNING: /pci@0,0/pci-ide@f,1/ide@1(ata);
timeout: reset bus, target:0 lun=0
....

Intel's website said it's only tested for Win2K and ResHat Linux7.1. many of
intel boards support Solaris like C440GX, L440GX, STL2 ...etc. so i thought
this one may support also. :-( .. anyone know how to fix this problem?

P.S. i also try to boot from software #1 CD but it return the same error message.
