Error when exchange partition

hi,

Can anyone help me on the following error

ALTER TABLE ACXIOM_NQ_TBL EXCHANGE PARTITION P200707 WITH TABLE ACXIOM_NQ_TEMP WITH VALIDATION
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-14097: column type or size mismatch in ALTER TABLE EXCHANGE PARTITION

Though the column name and datatypes are similar i'm getting this above error.
Is there any other possibility which causes this error?
