Windows 11 Professional, 64-bit laptop, stand-alone, not on a network
Oracle SQL Developer V21.4.3 Build 063.0100
When I try to add a new connection, I get this error:
Oracle SQL Developer 1.png (7.75 KB)SQL Developer is installed in this local directory: C:\Program Files\Oracle\Oracle SQL Developer\sqldeveloper, so I am not using a UNC connection.
One suggestion said this: try renaming your system18.4 directory - it will be under your Windows User .AppData directory, and then roaming profiles and SQL Developer
I find the following entries there:

Roaming 3.png (38.93 KB)Here are the contents of that directory:
sqldeveloper 4.png (9.75 KB)I am thoroughly confused, I don't know if I have additional directories that are causing the problem or ???
Any assistance would be appreciated.
