I'm running Oracle 11.2.0.4 on Windows Server 2008
Our DB and listener services are started using domain account (say, abc\def). abc\def is in Administrators group on the server.
I'm getting error TNS-12638 every time the server is rebooted.
SQLNET.ORA does have SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NTS). If I comment out the line SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NTS) or set SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NONE), I cannot login using sqlplus / as sysdba on the server even with my username (say, abc\ghi is in ORA_DBA group.)
Since abc\def is in the Administrator group, I figured it should have full access to SQLNET.ORA file.
Not sure if it's related, but, we got error ORA-12514 TNS: listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor. Was able to reboot and connection resumes. I'm concern a bigger issue is looming.
Any help / suggestions?
Thanks
