Error running Form 10g ..

496600Mar 8 2006 — edited Mar 13 2006
Hi, I have tried everything to make my simple form run on my local server.
I started OC4J and TNSListener at port 8888 (because OC4J uses 8888 port in http-web-site.xml file) prior to run the form. I also fixed portlist.ini file to change port to 8888 because HTTP listener uses 8889 in that file (when I fixed this, I thought I solved the problem, but it was not).

I also put correct application URL by ipconfig at the command prompt to get my IP address and use 8888 for the port. That is, http://100.0.0:8888 for instance.

What really strange is that whenever I run the form, the browser opens up with random port number. For example, 127.0.0.1:3687 or 127.0.0.1:1303 or 127.0.0.1:3994, etc - always different whenever it runs.

Can anyone help me outta this or any clue?
Thanks,

Scott C
