ERROR: ORA-20999: ORA--20999 Error Number Not Defined

I'm not sure if it ok to post this error message here, let me know.
I've searched Google and didn't find anything...

My company is migrating data from one old version of Oralce (8.1.7.2) to Oracle Version 9.2.0.6.

The database is basically personal information and when we migrated a record over to the new database the following error appears:

ERROR: ORA-20999: ORA--20999 Error Number Not Defined

I think that the error is saying that we don't have an error message defined in the PL/SQL and that the logic is dropping thru because of this.

Am I correct, or is there something else going on?
