Error[nQSError: 27002] Near <">: Syntax error [nQSError: 26012] why?

Hi to All

when i try to create a RPD variable equivalent to OBIEE. It is showing the error as [nQSError: 27002] Near <">: Syntax error [nQSError: 26012] . The formula is used to create is:

count("BusinessModel"."L_AP.AP_CHECKS_ALL"."CHECK_NUMBER" )In "BusinessModel"."Variables"."Var-PO Number Detail"

Why i am getting this error. Anyybody pls shed light on this issue. My project is struck without a solution..
