When trying to access the EssbaseCluster-1 App Group under HSS we are getting the following error:
EPMLCM-34040: Cannot connect to olap service. Cannot connect to Essbase Server. Error:Essbase Error(1030024): Input in IP:port format (null:null) but non digit port when passed to ESSAPI function EssLoginEx
This error occurs in the process of accessing Shared Services>>Application Groups>>EssbaseCluster-1 (and any item listed thereunder). Obviously, we are having issues to execute an LCM export because of this.
We are using Mcsft. Clustering in an Active/Passive cluster of Essbase nodes (2) for this environment. Everything else works with Essbase. We have followed Oracle Tip and Trick instructions for proper setting of DNS alias in the EPM registry (www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-foundation/epm-tips-issues-73-102-1612164.pdf) and we have also made sure that the corresponding component.properties file for the EssbaseCluster-1 Artifact is indicating the correct failover cluster server.
Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
