I'm running Oracle 21c XE on a Windows 10 virtual machine.
After downloading Oracle 23ai Free for Windows today (hurray!) and running the setup, the first question was "This setup will update Oracle 21c XE". Okay?" and my choice was yes. The Oracle 21c XE setupscreen appears and disappears after a moment. I've waited a while and took a look into the taskmanager. Nothing to see.
When try to run the Oracle 23ai Free installer again. it shows the following error screen (two times):
After that the installer exits whithout further information.
What can I do to upgrade the Oracle 21c XE instance?
