Error 1058 - TNSlistener

131332Jan 5 2004 — edited Jan 7 2004
After installing 9.2 on my Windows 2000 PRO at home, the TNSListener service won't start. I get an Error-1058. Since I can assure that the service is enabled, the reason should be be that "No enabled device associated with it".
I have downloaded 9.2 from OTN to study XSQL. I am already running Tomcat 4.1.29 on that PC. I have tried to install 9.2 with many variations: I unsinstalled Oracle client I was using with VPN (running only when needed) but I did not uninstall XDK. I installed 9.2 without Apache HTTPServer and doing fixes directly into the registry, to no avail.
Doing netstat -a after the installation I have an increadible number of ports being listed to! But not 2051.
Please help me.
