Error 1033 received logging on to the standby

Hi oracle Gurus,

our oracle version RAC 11g R2.

there is a archive gap between primary and standby.

after investigation , in primary's alert log file its written as "

Error 1033 received logging on to the standby

PING[ARC1]: Heartbeat failed to connect to standby 'testdg'. Error is 1033.

i checked listener status, services are running, i could connect standby database from primary. unable to find solution.
