ERR-1002 Unable to find item ID for item

I have a button on page 111 of my app that, when pressed, redirects to P120 and sets 2 items in that page to the value in a Permit Number item on P111. But when I click the button, I get the error message:

Error ERR-1002 Unable to find item ID for item " P120_PERMIT_NUMBER_FOR_RANGE" in application ...

I am certain that the item name in page 120 is " P120_PERMIT_NUMBER_FOR_RANGE"

So what is wrong? Thanks.
