ERP Stock Updation Problem.

manoj.gupta.91Jul 29 2008 — edited Aug 13 2008
Hi All,

I'm facing a problem in my ERP with stock updation.

Suppose there are 2 users connected to my ERP. Everybody entered Material Requisition for some items. There is an item with code (10001) having quantity available 100.

User 1 wants 100 quantity of this item
User 2 also wants 100 quantity of this item.

As there is only 100 available quantity for this item. so only one user should be able to save his MR and another user should receive a message like "Requested Quantity not available.......!!"

Everyone can file Requisition for many items in a single MRN. But the problem is

untill user 1 doesn't COMMIT his changes user 2 cannot see stock updation changes. So MR may be saved for both of these user which must not happen.

This is the only case if both users attempting for requisition of same item at same time.

Please suggest what should I do in this scenario.............!!

For ur reference I'm working on following versions
